abydos was packaged as a dependency of (python3-)textdistance, but
textdistance has dropped the dependency.  abydos has not had any
communication from its maintainer since December 2022, and no commits
for about 5 years.  It now has an FTBFS bug against it with the numpy
2.0 transition; it would be trivial to fix, but it's a good reminder
that it's probably no longer needed in Debian.  It also ranks very low
on the popcon ratings.

So I'm requesting removal of this package.
