Dear Maintainer,

This package has serveral bugs [1] and pull-requests [2] open, some of
them waiting since a year to be considered. Moreover, this package is
under the Debian Python Team namespace on Salsa [3], but does not follow
the DPT policy of having the DPT as a Maintainer [4].

This is the reason I am raising this ITS bug in order to put the
Debian Python Team as the Maintainer of this package, and me as
an Uploader.

I have many commits closing serveral bugs in my own Salsa repo [5].
However I want the ITS to happen, so did not upload an NMU.
