Dear Debian Java team,

I am looking for a sponsor for my package "okio"

* Package name    : okio
  Version         : 1.8.0-1
* Upstream Author : Square, Inc.
* License         : Apache-2.0
* Programming lang: Java
* Description : Modern I/O API for Java
* URL             : https://github.com/square/okio
* Alioth          : https://anonscm.debian.org/cgit/pkg-java/okio.git

It builds those binary packages:

  * libokio-java
  * libokio-java-doc

The ITP bug URL is:

  https://bugs.debian.org/825539

Okio is a new library that complements `java.io` and `java.nio` to make it much
easier to access, store, and process your data.

Okio is a dependency of OkHttp, which is depended by Android platform
framework "android.jar". I will later submit an ITP for OkHttp after
okio is accepted.

Cheers,
Kai-Chung Yan

Uploaded with some tweaks, thanks a lot! I've just finished Spring 4.1
and I'll need OkHttp for Spring 4.2, so the timing is perfect :)

Hi Emmanuel,

Thanks for the upload!

I took a look and found that Spring 4.2 needs both okhttp and okhttp3.
Currently we can only package okhttp 2.5.0 because beyond that version
it depends on "android.jar", which also depends on okhttp.

Cheers,

Spring 4.2 depends on okhttp 2.7.5 only, okhttp 3.x will be required for
Spring 4.3. We'll have to package it separately since it's a different API.
