hello d-java, I notice that when running Swing apps on GNOME3, then a thread name instead of an application name is displayed: - freeplane 1.3.15 on jessie: java-lang-Thread - freeplane 1.5.9 on unstable: org-knopflerfish-framework-BundleThread - triplea on unstable: games-strategy-engine-framework-GameRunner - ... Does anyone have a solution for this? There is some discussion [1], but it seems without a solution. [1] https://www.bountysource.com/issues/7713930-window-title-is-java-lang-thread-instead-of-actual-application-name Can this possibly be solved on a GNOME level? Thanks and Best Regards, -- Felix Natter
