Hi Fabio, Thank you for offering your help, we definitely need more Scala developers to maintain and enhance the Scala ecosystem in Debian. Packaging SBT is a huge task, it requires many dependencies that aren't in Debian yet. You may start by listing the dependencies and pick one that seems easy to learn how the packaging work. We'll be happy to help you, just ask on this list or on the #debian-java IRC channel.
