Package: linux-source-6.12
Version: 6.12.88-1
Severity: important
X-Debbugs-Cc: sgardette@dalealbo.fr

Dear Maintainer,

After running "sudo apt upgrade" on 2026-05-16, the kernel was updated from
6.12.73+deb13-amd64 to 6.12.88+deb13-amd64. After reboot, Bluetooth stopped
working completely. The toggle in GNOME settings is grayed out.

The Bluetooth adapter is a Foxconn/Hon Hai device (USB ID 0489:e0f5) on an
ASUS Zenbook 14 UM3406KA.

Symptoms on 6.12.88:
- hciconfig shows hci0 as DOWN with BD Address 00:00:00:00:00:00
- bluetoothctl show: "No default controller available"
- dmesg: "Bluetooth: hci0: Failed to send wmt func ctrl (-22)"

The previous kernel 6.12.73+deb13-amd64 works perfectly with this device.
Workaround: booting with kernel 6.12.73+deb13-amd64 restores Bluetooth function.
