Thanks for taking action on this issue, I had not found the time to sit
down and figure out the issue and/or find an upstream patch to backport.

However, now that you did, adding and releasing the patch itself is
quickly done, so I'd prefer to just upload a new version myself (I've
already prepared it just now).

If you cancel the NMU, I'll go ahead with the upload.
