vorrei tornare un attimo in argomento per completezza d'informazione per così dire.
volevo quindi segnalare che alla fine, dopo aver provato alcune soluzioni alternative
(senza dubbio anch'esse valide), si è deciso assieme all'amico di cui sopra di
installare "fbreader".

a conti fatti è sembrata anche a lui la soluzione migliore per il contesto
specifico. 
tra l'altro il fatto che il software in questione sia anche decisamente parco in
quanto a requisiti hardware è un innegabile plus.
