Follow-up Comment #5, bug #57592 (project groff):

s/keying of a simple/keying off a symbol/
And while I'm here I will add that doing the above would be irritating for
`an-old.tmac` at least, which pledges itself to classical troff compatibility
and therefore has matchbox-sized namespace.
