That's the OPPOSITE of what you're supposed to do on Unix-based mailing lists, Usenet, and other sensible places. It's what you have to do at work when you're communicating with Outlook and web-mail users, because they didn't grow up in the Usenet era, and they don't know email netiquette. But you don't do it in public.
