         the shell stops recognising the URL after the umlaut "ö". Only 
the part
        "https://dict.leo.org/franz*ö*" is underlined and used in a call 
to a browser.**

         2.   Press and hold CTRL, then left-click the URL: the URL is 
opened in a browser,
