Mais ça c'est pour le mail. Pour NNTP il y a
https://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc3977#section-3.6 qui dit :

"The content of a header SHOULD be in UTF-8." Donc gnus semble avoir un
comportement tout à fait conforme.
