Ich bin auch froh, mein Mopped gegen einen Gaul getauscht zu haben. Vorteil: Wenn man damit bei kalter Witterung in die Arbeit reitet, ist Sitzheizung serienmäßig. Manchmal tanze ich auch im rosa Tütü über die Endurostrecke, das hält fit und sieht lustig aus. Mein Töchterlein hat vollstes Verständnis dafür, wenn ich ihr als Alternative zu einer Portion Pommes Frites einen Teller Kartoffelsuppe mit Blumenkohl, Kürbiskernöl und Vollkornbrot empfehle. Weniger von diesen teuflischen Acrylamiden, kommt vom Brennwert fast aufs Gleiche raus und hat obendrein noch viele wichtige Vitamine und Mineralstoffe. SCNR, Volker

Rear wheel slide ist eine der Methoden, eine Karre moeglichst schnell zum Stehen zu bekommen oder um ein Hindernis herum. Hat ein Bekannter sogar auf dem Rennrad benutzt, um in der Stadt den Crash in die Seite eines Autos zu verhindern. Hinterrad blockiert, als das Rennrad 90 Grad gegen die "Fahrtrichtung" war dann noch das Vorderrad, linker Fuss draussen. Einmal sogar bei Geradeausfahrt weit hinter den Sattel gehen und das Vorderrad moduliert blockieren, damit es sich ein wenig in den Schotter eingraebt und das MTB damit besser verzoegert. Ich hatte eine Trailabfahrt in vollem Schuss verpasst und es kam ein Felshaufen auf mich zu (Abzweiger im Gelaende sind hier oft nicht ausgeschildert). Ich bin zwar bei diesem Bremsmaneuver keine gerade Linie gefahren, kam jedoch rechtzeitig zum Stehen. Echte Profis haetten dabei eine schnurgerade Geroellfurche hingelegt. Aehnlich ist das, wenn man einen steilen Hang runter muss und das ganze etwas unterschaetzt hat. Rear wheel lock haeufelt dabei Dreck an und laesst das Hinterrad ein wenig "eingraben". Das mache ich natuerlich nur im Notfall, denn sowas erodiert den Trail. Da kannsde dich auch beschweren, dass man in der Fahrschule keine Wheelies lernt. Und selbst in Hechlingen habe ich nicht gesehen, dass Powerslides zum Stoff gehören. Wie man RICHTIGE Steilhänge rauf & runter fährt und auch mal zwischendurch im Hang anhält, das bekommt man schon gezeigt. Und kaum jemand schafft das Tagespensum ohne sich mal hinzuschmeissen, eher öfter, so in der aufgeschütteten Klein-Sahara. Die Alleen in der Mark Brandenburg sind ja richtig schön, aber Sonntag mittag war das dort nur noch krank. Tshirt, (beinahe) Badehose/Latschen und 1000RR oder Hayabusa.. Ich fahre ja selber. Für mich ist das Mopped so eine Art Rückzugsgefecht vom Fliegen; mit -7 Dioptrien ist der Fliegerarzt schon jedes mal ein Abenteuer mit fraglichem Ausgang. Und ja, meine Mutter war auch dagegen, dass ich Segelfliegen anfange, dabei ist sie selbst als Teenie SG-38 "Schädelspalter" im Erzgebirge geflogen, inclusive Crash. Wir haben das Bundesleistungszentrum hier im Landkreis, und nachdem sie den 1. Windenstart dort gesehen hat, war das Thema ausdiskutiert. Aber nach der Wende gab's einen neuen Kontakt. Meine Tochter ist eher reiselustig und findet das nicht gut, wenn ich mich ohne sie mit dem Mopped nach Island oder so abseile. :-)

Diese "Lenkerende wird festgehalten"-Geschichten passieren auch gerne an Drängelgittern, Pollern, U-Bahn-Abgängen, Zweirichtungsradwegen - und natürlich im Mischverkehr, z. Möglicherweise gab es sogar reine DC-Radios ohne Gleichrichter, einfach einen niederuffigen[tm] Folien-Siebkondensator gegen das Kollektorgeheule des Generators. Falsche Polung ergab einfach "geht nicht". Und ja, das Geheule im Hintergrund hab ich noch in den 60ern in einer Grossen Kreisstadt hinterhalb Dräsdn gehört. DC im Stadtnetz... -- mfg Rolf Bombach
