Es ist natürlich schon ein wenig problematisch, eingeführte technische Begriffe umbenennen zu wollen, aber was solls. Es scheint einigen Leuten wichtig zu sein, und da habe ich jetzt die Wahl, denen zu erzählen, daß es ihnen nicht wichtig zu sein habe, oder nett zu sein und ihnen den Gefallen zu tun, andere Begriffe zu nutzen. Letzteres scheint mir sozialkompatibler und weniger Aufwand zu sein, also von mir aus. Reines Marketing scheint es mir nicht zu sein, es gibt auch in anderen Bereichen Umbenennungstendenzen: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Master/Slave#Kritik_an_der_Terminologie Welche Begriffe sich durchsetzen wird sich zeigen.
