Das wird nichts "zusammengelegt" oder "umbenannt".

Je nach Abstimmungsergebnis schaut das dann so aus:

Alle Gruppen unter

de.comp.sys.mac.*

werden gelöscht.

Samt de.comp.sys.mac.misc: selbst die wird auch *nicht* "umbenannt".
Sondern ebenfalls damit gelöscht.

Dann wird eine *neue* Gruppe erstellt:

de.comp.sys.mac

Wie es schon mal bis zum Jahr 2000 war. Diese ist dann erst einmal
komplett leer, weil halt eine neu eingerichtete Gruppe.

Damals wurde de.comp.sys.mac gelöscht und die anderen Gruppen wurden neu
eingerichtet. So, wie sie unter de.comp.sys.mac.* heute halt bestehen.

Das ist beides dämlich. Den Versuch gab es aber schon einmal, ich habe
dagegen gestimmt.

Wenn, dann sollte

de.comp.sys.mac.misc

bestehen bleiben. So wie es ist.

Und nicht, weil dann de.comp.sys.mac "schöner" ausschaut.

Aber darüber wird ja alsbald via CFV abgestimmt. Nur halt nicht hier™ in
soc.

Mit kaum Traffic. ;-)
