Zudem halte ich das für absolut wahrscheinlich, das MacOS X irgendwann
eingestampft wird. Für Apple macht es keinen Sinn zwei Betriebssysteme
parallel zu pflegen, iOS hat außerdem für Apple den Vorteil, das sie die
Plattform zu 100% kontrollieren und bei jeder App mit verdienen und das
bei geringstem Aufwand!

Dazu kommt, das sich die Apple Desktop- und Notebook-Hardware von den
Mitbewerbern in keiner Weise mehr abheben kann, was bietet Apple, was
andere nicht schon längst haben?

Mit dem Schließen der Monitor-Sparte hat Apple weiterhin Fachwissen
"abgegeben", was man auch für die Entwicklung zukünftiger iMac's
gebraucht hätte - ist das mittelfristig deren Ende? Warum soll ich
überhaupt noch einen All-in-one-PC kaufen, wenn ich auch genauso einen
beliebigen Monitor oder Fernseher nehmen kann und dort ein kleines
Kästchen anstecke, was man "elegant" verstecken kann?

Apple war ja schon immer ein Meister und Vorreiter im Weglassen von, in
ihren Augen, unnötigen "Funktionen", möglicherweise halten sie ihre
MacBook's und iMac's ja zukünftig für entbehrlich?
