Hier gibt es eine Liste mit Gnu-Projekten - vermutlich viele unter der GPL.

Ein paar prominentere Projekte: grep, emacs, gimp, gv, gzip.

Vielleicht ist github nicht die beliebteste Repoquelle für GPL-Projekte?!
