München hätte auch noch eine lokale Forth-Gruppe
zu bieten, die monatlich in Feldmoching tagt und
Pizzas vertilgt. Dabei wie 1860 vom Aufstieg träumt.

"Forth-Community" kann man inzwischen unterteilen
in: retro ( d.h. programmiert nicht mehr, erinnert
sich aber gerne noch ), embedded ( eher Elektronik )
und wer eng Forth diskutieren will. Letztere finden
sich aber nur in comp.lang.forth, waren nie in
de.comp.lang.forth aktiv.

FORTH hat sicherlich zu kämpfen.
Ist 2024 bei "IEEE Spectrum The Top Programming
Languages" rausgefallen:
"This year also saw several languages drop out of the rankings. This 
doesn’t mean a language is completely dead, it just means that these 
languages’ signal is too weak to allow them to be meaningfully ranked. 
Languages that dropped out included Forth, a personal favorite of mine 
that’s still popular with folks building 8-bit retro systems because of 
its tiny footprint."

Weil man sich also aufs Wesentliche konzentrieren
muß, ist für usenet keine Zeit mehr. Da dieses noch
deutlicher auf dem Weg nach Süden ist. Eher Problem
als Lösung. Verschwinden von de.comp.lang.forth
kümmert also inzwischen nicht mehr.
