Es gab in einer 64'er einen großen Teil der Zusatzbefehle als Erweiterung 
für den C64. Benutzt hat das aber vmtl kaum jemand, weil ...

... das halt auch stimmt. Der 64er war eben eher eine Videokonsole bei 
den allermeisten Usern.

Gute Games sind eben einfach gute Games. Das hat wenig mit Grafik- und 
Soundfähigkeiten zu tun.

Letztlich gilt aber genau dafür, daß letztlich alle coolen Tricks durch 
bessere Hardware "übernommen" werden. Dann natürlich auf einer anderen 
Maschine, aber es macht das Ganze auf eine Art irgendwie ein wenig 
sinnlos, so beeindruckend sowas auch sein kann, wenn man etwa weiß, das 
es eigentlich gar nicht geht. Nur: wenn man einfach mehr Hardware 
benutzen kann und das dann besser geht, ist irgendwie der Zauber der 
Demos auch ein wenig "dahin".
