In George Gray and R.Q. Smith's book "Unisys Computers: An Introductory History", they say that the 1986 takeover (AKA "merger") caused work on an "advanced" OS for the Series 1100/2200 system being done in the Atlanta development center to come to an end. Does anyone know anything about this "advanced" OS? What was supposed to make it so special? What capabilities and/or features was it supposed to have? Enquiring minds and all that. Thanks in advance. --
