Position: Citrix Architect
Location: Chicago, IL
Duration: 6 months to begin with 
Start: ASAP

Role & Responsibilities

-  Designing, Architecting Citrix XenApp 5.0 Metaframe and Previous versions also
-  Have experience of atleast one large size design and deployment of Citix Metaframe
-  Rebuild and Configure Citrix XenApp 5.0 farm
-  Provided IIS Administration for Citrix web server and Server Group Policy
-  Install and configured XenApp 5.0 in VMWare and have supported all installed Citrix Applications and administer all Citrix applications installed on the Farm.
-  Created and configured Citrix Policies via CMC and created new Citrix groups in AD
-  Responsible for the VM testing and developing VM server’s environment.
-  Experienced on Citrix MPS 4.0 and 4.5, XenApp 5.0 SQL and Oracle Data Store, Citrix Nfuse Web Page.
-  Excellent Skills supporting MetaFrame XP, Citrix presentation server 4.x and XenApp, Secure Gateway, Access Gateway, intelligent and micro hubs, routers, network software 
   support and Microsoft Office Products.
-  Provide support for end-user community utilizing Citrix resource Implementation
-  Architect, Design and implementation of VMware infrastructure in an Enterprise Environment.
-  Virtualization assessment.
-  Migration of existing VMware environments to latest environment.
-  Design & Configuring high availability/ DR
-  Configuration of Cisco UCS.
-  Review and agree on the design parameters.
-  Install management and monitoring components and hand over to Operations team.

Experience  ( Essential )

•	Science or Engineering Degree with 15 - 20 years in IT 
•	Strong Skills, Knowledge, Experience in Citrix Metaframe
•	Have done Migration of Citrix Environments.
•	Do understand the Intricacies, Complexities and constraints of the Citrix Environment
•	Being expert on the Citrix XenApp 5.0
•	Maintenance and troubleshooting of Citrix 4.x and XenApp 5.0 servers. And Migration of applications from legacy Citrix farms to XenApp 5.0 servers farms
•	Strong knowledge on VMware Technologies(ESX all versions, ESXi, VSphere, Desktop Virtualization)
•	Should have prior experience in virtualization readiness assessment.
•	Should have previous experience on design, implementation, migration / Upgrade virtual infrastructure based on VMware.
•	Strong knowledge on cloud technologies
•	Should have sound knowledge on converged Infrastructure such as vBlock / Flexpod & also on UCS, HP Bladesystems.
•	Should have sound knowledge & hands-on experience of MS Windows OS & MS Active Directory.
•	Strong hands-on implementation experience on VMware technologies like ESX, VDIs.
•	Sound knowledge & previous experience of using virtualization tools such as VMware capacity planner, PLATESPIN, CiRBA etc…
•	Previous hands-on experience in managing supporting (administration) of virtual infrastructure based on VMware.
•	Extensive knowledge on VMware Cluster and DR environments.  
•	Certification in Citrix is must
•	Good Communication skills
•	Process orientation
•	Good and effective written and oral communication

Preferred)

•	Previous experience on design, implementation, migration / Upgrade Windows OS, AD,
•	Previous experience on design, implementation, migration / Upgrade of  other virtualization such as CITRIX, Hyper-V, VDI
•	VCP (VMware certified professional)
•
