Not at all. The iPhone does everything the iPod does, and more. If you
carry your Palm constantly, then an iPhone could replace both your phone
and your Palm, maybe.
On the other hand, I am not ready to start using a smartphone. I have
issues with privacy and security. I have to admit, every time Apple
announces a new model iPhone, I reconsider. I am staying with iPod for
now.
