Message-ID<XP2dnVBnM_hv-jHCnZ2dnUU7-f_NnZ2d@earthlink.com>
Hello.

I cannot seem to find the older Mac OS versions' installer files to
redownload (Mojave v10.14.6 and earlier). I only can find Catalina
v10.15.7). Did Apple remove them? :(

Thank you for reading and hopefully answering soon. :)

This App Store link may be personal to my Apple-ID but it's worth a try:

<https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/macos-mojave/id1398502828?ls=1&mt=12>

If it doesn't work for you, try pruning the link.

remove gb (great britain) from the link. since usa is the default,
nothing should replace it. the link should be:
apps.apple.com/app/mac...

I replaced "gb" with "us", but got same results. :/

what part of 'nothing should replace it' was not clear?

Without "gb" part, same result too.

It works in Polish App Store, no matter if I put "gb" or "us" in the link. It
looks like you need to find a trusted person outside US to download it for
you, or wait and hope it's just a glitch.

Works just fine in the US, even with the /gb/ in the link.

Not for me. https://apps.apple.com/app/macos-mojave/id1398502828?ls=1&mt=12
says "Item not available"

First, I said "even WITH the /gb/" and second, the link you posted also
works just fine. It's the middle of the night an no one is awake, so I
even went ahead and downloaded it. No issue.

Hmmm... I just tried the above link (on a 2019 Mac Pro running macOS
10.15.7) and got "Update not found":

Strange...

I was pointed at this script:

<https://github.com/munki/macadmin-scripts/blob/main/installinstallmacos.py>

so I duly ran it and it appears to download your choice of macOS. I asked for
Catalina.latest and now I have an installer which claims it will do that.
Haven't tried it yet.

Thanks. I'll give a whirl sometime.

That's a good script, although I do not like that it creates the
application in the /Applications folder instead of the folder it is run
from.

I found it on my desktop, where I ran the script from. But I had named the
script downloader.py rather than whatever its actual name is supposed to be,
as I'd copy/pasted the script into BBEdit. Perhaps that makes a difference.

Nah. It downloads to the current working directory - not the
Applications folder.

It downloads the parts to the current folder and assembles the Install
app in /Applications.
