#143532 — macOS Sonoma 14.4 Breaks iMazing

FromChris Schram <chrispam1@me.com>
Date2024-03-08 09:21 +0000
SubjectmacOS Sonoma 14.4 Breaks iMazing
Message-ID<uselad$13hk9$1@solani.org>
I updated to macOS Sonoma 14.4 on my M1 iMac, and iMazing.app now hangs
with the beachball of despair when I click the "Manage Apps" button,
requiring me to Force Quit the Application. This problem exists in both
iMazing 2.17.17 and Beta version 3.0.0. I have submitted a report to
iMazing Support.

Can anyone out there either validate or debunk whether iMazing works on
your Mac under the latest version of Sonoma?

Why?

Will it magically transform two pieces of software into another piece of
software...

Are you suggesting that there are TWO items of software with the same name?

These names are in fact different, idiot:

- iMazing
- iMazing Converter
- iMazing Profile Editor

> The link on the Facebook page goes to iMazing.com

They still aren't the same app, doofus.

OK - THREE Apps!

Two have been vetted and approved by Apple.

There's another App which has NOT been vetted and approved by Apple.
A possible candidate for spreading malware. Who has checked?

It's not malware. You're just an idiot troll.

There are obviously at least THREE applications with the same text as a
PART of their names, doofus.

"iMazing Profile Editor" is one app on the App Store

"iMazing Convertor" is another one from there.

"iMazing" (nothing more) is an app not available on the App Store.

>
> The link on the Facebook page goes to iMazing.com

So?

They are three different applications that are old developed by the same
company.

But the one under discussion isn't available on the App Store.

That's your response? Pointing to the Facebook page of the developer who
created two apps that try to piggyback on the iMazing name but don't do
anything that iMazing actually does? 🤣 You're a fucking clueless troll.

You're not fooling anyone here with you little distraction. If your
objective here is to make yourself look like a complete fool, you're
doing an excellent job. Keep it up!

Nothing you can say changes the fact that those are not the same app.

His e-mail address changed

within 24 hours.

Nym hasn't been around long and it's already mutating in an imitation of

Why don't you guys simply blank him instead of replying to his posts? That's
one of the best ways to frustrate attention seeking trolls.
