There was no option to remove only from one machine. Disable on the current machine isn't doing it on only one machine? -- E-mail sent to this address may be devoured by my ravenous SPAM filter. The account was still in my Internet Accounts list, only with the notation "Inactive." It's the same effect you get by unchecking all the options in the "Use With" list. Hence whatever file had been corrupted was not removed and I still couldn't get Mail to see the "INBOX" path prefix. It was only when I went ahead and removed the account from both computers, then created a new account for the same ISP, that the problem went away. Patty

I wasn't you actually hit that button to try it out. -- E-mail sent to this address may be devoured by my ravenous SPAM filter. I often ignore posts from Google. Use a real news client instead. JR

No-one knows why, but it might not be a good idea to hang around and find out.

I suspect he's got it out for you and is messing with your settings. -- Barry Margolin, barmar@alum.mit.edu Arlington, MA *** PLEASE post questions in newsgroups, not directly to me ***
