Is there any way to reinstall the OS from the network on an iMac from that era? I know newer ones let you do so. I no longer have the DVD that came with the machine and the hard drive recently died. Will likely just get an external drive and not bother trying to open the machine. -- "I have never, ever cared about really anything but the Linux desktop." -- Linus Torvalds

Flash drives are cheap these days. Just don't install the OS on it. 2 of
my 64 GB flash drives died just from installing and booting up. :(

Need to get the OS also... but as someone else pointed out I can get it from Apple for $20.
