I had notifications enabled on two or three apps.

Sierra install turned them on for ALL apps and checked ALL the checkboxes.

Is there a way to turn them all off, and then go back and turn on the
few I want?

It's really irritating to have to go through and turn them off one at a
time for every app, especially after having already grumbled my way
through that process before.

Must be a bug. I've never had that happen through several updates.

I don't recall it happening on any earlier update. Some of my other
preferences were also set to factory default. But not all of them.
