When I take a screenshot it is automatically placed on drop box and the
URL to the screenshot is on my clipboard. So, screenshot, ⌘-V

That immediately beats the crap out of Dropbox by simply displaying
the image without the need for me to enable Javascript or dismiss
an overlay trying to persuade me to sign up.

It's neat but you're dismissing the value of Dropbox too easily. I can
plop a file into dropbox and get the link and e-mail or message it out
w/o visiting the Dropbox webpage at all. No need to sign in to Dropbox
(that's automatic when I boot OS X on the Mac end).

I've used dropbox *very* little, but before I got it others would send
dropbox docs and I had to figure it out on my end to get it. Once I
was using dropbox I had to hand-hold with other newbies, some of which
were such newbies that anything becomes a cserve project for them.

Now I have my own website/domain and can send them a direct link to
automatically download a file useing FileChute, which easy for files.
Similarly with images, but I'm not eager to pass my site's id out to
one and all; thus tinygrab.com.

Eh? Showing a JPG or PNG via Dropbox? Cripes - damn near the official
sport around here.

Never used Dropbox much, but didn't realize this was one of its tricks.

I've seen it before and the problem for me as a NoScript user is that it
wants me to

1. enable Javascript for dropbox.com, dropboxstatic.com and
google.com, though I can see the image when I ignore google.com
2. dismiss the prompt trying to persuade me to login, creating an
account if I don't have one.

Too much hassle for a simple image view.

Having my own webspace, I simply load any images I want to share up
there. I suppose there's a very small chance that something I loaded
could go viral, and I'd get clobbered with bandwidth quotas, but I
really don't see that happening with the occasional screenshot.

Yep, that's the correct spelling, as Alan has already mentioned.

The keys looks nothing like chiclets.

See also:
> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chiclet_keyboard top right photo.

Wikipedia also says "the term is neutral and refers to low-profile,
low-travel keyboards with simplified, flat bezel-separated keycaps that
other than their appearance function like contemporary computer
keyboards." which is not correct. It is a disparaging term used by people
to describe pretty much any non-mechanical keyboard they don't like.

These keys look like chiclets:

These are chiclets:

Not at all.

Wow, never opened a box of chiclets with those inside.

Yeah, I don't get the "disparaging" aspect. It seems a simple, though
admittedly flawed discriptor. Ho hum.

A disciplined guy would only have been cheated on the last pack of
Chiclets he ever bought, if he had bought a odd number of packages in
total and wasn't a saver. Or, buying two packages at a time could
alleviate emotional while increasing financial stress.
You didn't say whether you ever gave one away, accepted a free one or
lost one, so I will have to conclude that you didn't.
I wish we had talked before you bought your first package. I just love
giving worthless yet flawless advice.
I use a Chiclet keyboard. I have a USB Apple extended one in a drawer
that I frankly like to type on better, but the keys are dirty and it
has that nasty old fashioned cable. Yuck!. So... in with the new and I
deal with it.

Gave away, traded, borrowed ... those were free livin' days...

I ordered the wired one. Should be here Wed or so.

If I like it at home I'll order the bluetooth version for work.
