The Magic Trackpad I've had for years - that is great (1st version). At work I use an ancient Logitech mouse I found in a drawer somewhere. -- She hummed to herself because she was an unrivaled botcher of lyrics. -Nick (Gone Girl), Gillian Flynn.

I'm currently using the first generation. I've used the 2nd gen at the Apple retail stores and like them though. In fairness, if you were reverting to the old keyboard everyday for work, you didn't really didn't really give it the college try; not that you need to. I have changed keyboards a lot in life (surely we all have) as well as guitar neck widths and lengths. After the obligatory carping my hands get straightened out. I'm trying to talk myself into moving on to this same keyboard, so I've got to be optimistic!

I don't disagree with you, and I do use a Mac keyboard at work. A lot. But I feel far better using the Logitech - especially when writing in French using an English keyboard (option - whatever) to pre-select accents). -- She hummed to herself because she was an unrivaled botcher of lyrics. -Nick (Gone Girl), Gillian Flynn.

I don't see any reference to either "chiclet" or "chicklet" on Apple's website, so I'm not sure who you mean that came up with the name for Apple's keyboards. However, there are Google Search results for "chiclet keyboards" in general, such as this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chiclet_keyboard That article says that the term was first applied to a TR-80 keyboard. I'd forgotten that the style went back that far. The only search results I see for "chicklet" are, as expected, slang terms for young women (variation on "chick"). >And >yes, I bought those packs of Chiclets as a kid and teenager and recall >that each had 15 pieces.
