That's a shame. I like being able to walk up to any modern Mac and feel
right at home on the standard OEM Apple keyboard and Magic TrackPad.

Not like I can't use it. Just don't like it. The Magic Trackpad I've
had for years - that is great (1st version). At work I use an ancient
Logitech mouse I found in a drawer somewhere.

I'm currently using the first generation. I've used the 2nd gen at the
Apple retail stores and like them though. That'll definitely be what I
get next time I purchase one.

In fairness, if you were reverting to the old keyboard everyday for
work, you didn't really didn't really give it the college try; not that
you need to. I have changed keyboards a lot in life (surely we all
have) as well as guitar neck widths and lengths. After the obligatory
carping my hands get straightened out.

I'm trying to talk myself into moving on to this same keyboard, so I've
got to be optimistic!

I don't disagree with you, and I do use a Mac keyboard at work. A lot.
But I feel far better using the Logitech - especially when writing in
French using an English keyboard (option - whatever) to pre-select accents).

"chicklet"? I guess you young 'uns aren't familiar with the term:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chiclets

For the record, Apple's keys are a lot bigger than the candies.

I'm not the one who came up with the moniker for Apple's keyboards. And
yes, I bought those packs of Chiclets as a kid and teenager and recall
that each had 15 pieces. Which irked me because I always chewed two at
a time.

I don't see any reference to either "chiclet" or "chicklet" on Apple's
website, so I'm not sure who you mean that came up with the name for
Apple's keyboards.

However, there are Google Search results for "chiclet keyboards" in
general, such as this:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chiclet_keyboard

That article says that the term was first applied to a TR-80 keyboard.
I'd forgotten that the style went back that far.

The only search results I see for "chicklet" are, as expected, slang
terms for young women (variation on "chick").

:-) Guess you had to buy two boxes and eat the two leftovers together. :-)

Obviously not on the Apple sites. I've seen it before. Can't say
where, can't say when (the mispelling with a k is mine, however).

And the top right photo is a MacBook. Though I think always in terms of
the white boards as they do look like chiclets.

Interesting: I've never seen anyone display an image file this way.

How do you share images for online display?
I use Dropbox and Adobe CC, some use imgur.com and others use other
sharing methods including Flickr, and SmugMug, but DB is one of the
best.

It may well, be, I just didn't know dropbox did that. I have only ever
used tinygrab.com. It's free, quick and easy, and (at least for me),
much faster in display. Example:

Both grab and dropbox are far superior to adobe's offering from here.
