BWAHAAAHAAAHAAAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!! "Apple was surprised about last week's filing to vacate the hearing, but vowed that if the case progressed, it would seek information about the party and the method used to hack into the iPhone. Now that the Justice Department has backed out, it can't file for information about the researcher or the method used. According to the Guardian, the government has deemed the exploit classified." http://www.engadget.com/2016/03/28/apple-s-encryption-battle-with-the-fbi-is-over-for-now/

The Director of the FBI sat in front of Congress and repeated the lie he'd told the court, that the case was about a single phone. This was a lie from the beginning and it wasn't until after testifying before Congress that the FBI admitted there were at least "hundreds" of other phones. -- If there's a bustle in your hedgerow don't be alarmed now.

And the work phone wasn't even OWNED by them... it belonged to the county. Why put secret terrorist info on a phone you don't even own, when you can put it on phones you do? -- A pessimist says the glass is half empty. An optimist says the glass is half full. I think they wanted a way into every phone, and were using this case as a vehicle. It's actually the LEAST conspiratorial read on the situation. Get a grip? That's good advice for YOU, my friend. The government was ready to go to the Supreme Court... but, somehow, miraculously found a way into the phone the day before the next hearing was to take place. Bullshit. They pushed it as far as they could, and cut their losses when they knew they'd lose the case - and shut the door forever on that avenue. Nothing conspiratorial about it. It's the pragmatic interpretation based on what actually happened. -- Professionals built the TITANIC. Amateurs built the ARK. Idiots believe this.

Only idiots would disagree with this. There will be another terrorist attack.
