With more recent models such as 5s and later, the alleged technique
won't work. The alleged technique replies on being to rewrite a part of
the disk that contains the failed attempts so the phone still thinks the
number is at 0.

With more recent models, that information is stored in the "secure
enclave" inside the CPU and accessing the disk to rewrite a portion
won't change the secure enclave.
