Everywhere I look on the Apple site the Command Line Tools are labeled "beta" - any official version out for 10.11? Re-compiled a program after a very minor change and compilation stopped in the middle. After 10 minutes of looking for the (compiler unspecified bug) it dawned on me that I hadn't compiled anything since OS X came out. Might have to go backwards to 10.10 on one Mac until it's resolved.

The only one I see for download is Command Line Tools (OS X 10.11) for Xcode 7.1 beta 3 released on Oct 6, 2015. -- E-mail sent to this address may be devoured by my ravenous SPAM filter. I often ignore posts from Google. Use a real news client instead. JR

I'll try it and we'll see. Can't be worse than current state. I DL'd the latest XCode, but under Prefs|Download there is no CLT which is where I previously retrieved them ...

To install the command line developer tools, run:
xcode-select --install
You'll then be prompted to run:
xcodebuild -license
I'll note, I'm running Xcode 7.0.1, not the beta version.
