Xcode developper tools folder

A long time ago, in a distant Snow Leopard galaxy, xcode installation
woudl also setup a "Developper" directory in the system disk root, it
contained not only xcode, but programming examples and more importantly,
many neat utilities such as a USB prober and many others.


I installed xcode for 10.10 and despita also installingt the command
line tools, it did not create such a Developper directory with all the
goodies inside.

Is it created elsewhere ? some other component I need to download ? Or
are all thase utilities and example programmes gone ?

All of that is stored in the Xcode application package now:

/Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer

You can also access some of the tools directly from within Xcode through
the Xcode > Open Developer Tool sub-menu.

Thanks. Was able to drag the developer folder to the dock to emulate
what I had before.
