In the Trackpad system preference, if I set "Swipe between pages" to "...two fingers", when I start to swipe that way, Safari slides the current page or next page so that I can see what it is doing -- and I can abort the slide by swiping back. But if I set "Swipe between pages" to "...three fingers", when I start to swipe there is no visual feedback. The page just suddenly displays the next or previous page at some point in the swipe. This is very annoying -- I like the feedback the two-finger setting gives, though I would prefer to require three fingers for this move. Does this swiping behave the same for other people, relative to the feedback (with two finger) and lack of feedback (with three fingers)? If so, any clue why the two settings behave differently with respect to feedback? I get the above result with the latest Mavericks and with the latest Yosemite. Thanks, Martin
