Exactly. Downloading and installing pirated software is just begging to have your machine compromised with whatever happens to be included, which can be as bad as allowing some stranger full administrator-level access to everything on your machine. Someone with root access can do anything they want: from stealing your private information or identity, to downloading child porn or other illegal and unsavory things, or any number of other activities that would point authorities straight to you. Install enough pirated software and sooner or later you're going to learn the hard way that it's a REALLY BAD IDEA! Don't be stupid. Stay away from it. It's not hard at all to get Photos. iPhoto came installed on every new Mac between from 2002 to 2015; so it's included on the original install DVD for all of those machines. And Photos is included in macOS 10.10.3 and later, which will automatically update iPhoto to Photos during install/setup. There's no need to resort to pirating it when it's so readily available. -- E-mail sent to this address may be devoured by my ravenous SPAM filter. I often ignore posts from Google.
