I've worked in several semiconductor manufacturers, technical hardware
and software makers, and all of them had people using Macs, some more
than others. Even Microsoft employees use Macs. And every technical
conference I have been to in the past decade shows plenty of smart
people using Macs both in the audience and on stage. 

This "No one is an expert that buys an PC from Apple" line is pure
bullshit any way you look at it.
