I'm just curious, for all of the hemming and hawing, if anyone has
bothered to actually try removing it to see if there are any adverse
effects. Simple question.

I certainly don't care about it being on my machines. I use Photos and
don't mind it being there. And even if I didn't use it, I doubt it would
be my first choice of apps to delete to save space since it doesn't
consume much at all. Same goes for Chess, and other smallish apps.
