Not sure what you are asking. You don't *have* to compress it. You can
simply move it if you want. But as soon as you run the installer and let
it do the installation, it deletes parts of it during installation. So
I find compressing it first thing give me a single file I can easily
copy anywhere I want (or archive for later).
