Jonas Eklundh lied. Period.
You guys can only think from the perspective of a programmer. If you have some_file.doc open in a editor such as MS Word and you want to change its name to d.txt via a hot key whilst printing it as an edited PDF, that might be useful, if only to see it attach to a Xpra display. Who are you even talking to? Having to suffer the use of OS X it can hardly be called "free" when you include your time.
