Battery Usage on Monterey

I just updated the trusty old MacBook Pro (13", 2019 model) from Catalina to
Monterey. Smooth update and the startup/shutdown seems faster, and the laptop
overall seems a bit snappier. However, the battery seems to deplete faster. Is
it just me or is their increased battery usage with Monterey? I keep all apps
closed after using them so I'm not sure what else I need to check (or
rememberd to check) to minimize battery use. Thanks.
