Yes, very mildly.  But there are plenty of cli tools in OS X.  Same goes 
true for the other UNIX vendors.

Funny thing is, the terminal can use bash, tcsh, korn, and other shells, 
just like UNIX, so I don't know where the linux people think that os x 
can't do the job.
