Thanks for the information! I want to try this before I replace the entire drive from B/U because the better half put a lot of work into scanning not very widely available CD/Album artwork some being custom, and we LIKE CoverFlow. Let me try and clarify: The latest version of the file named iTunes Library inside the Previous iTunes folder should be taken out of the folder and placed in the next level up, still inside the iTunes folder, which is inside the Music folder, which is inside *my* User folder. Then it should be renamed "iTunes Library", because the one already there that was created by upgrading to iTunes 11 also has that name. But, BEFORE I make that move, I should rename THAT file created by installing iTunes 11 to anything else, so there would be no conflict when I place the 10.7 Library on the same level, just inside the iTunes folder. And just what is Pacifist, BTW? THANKS! If this works, it is GOLD! Also, guys I do appreciate the info about as to just why I simply cannot replace the iTunes.app file without disruption to System and general havoc. I will report back with results...
