Thank you for replying. It looks like I have 59000 email messages in my Eudora. Hope Emailchemy and Mail do not succumb to that. In the Emailchemy manual it says: "So, if you don’t have your old computer or old email program anymore but you still have the email files, Emailchemy can read them anywhere". That sounds to good to be true: I can copy my Eudora folder (containing the mail, filters, addressbook etc but NOT the actual Eudora application) to my new iMac (for example in the Documents folder) and Emailchemy will convert the files, which I can then import to Mail? (Thus saving me the step of converting to Mail on old iMac and then importing to new iMac?) Sounds like a better option than Eudora Mailbox Cleaner. Thanks again. I will post after I do this (have to get my nerve up...).
