The floppy disk slot on my beige G3 PowerMac is a fake. Originally it
had a floppy disk drive there, but the drive failed (probably just
needs a good clean and realignment) so I took it out and used he drive
bay for a second hard drive instead. I've got a USB floppy drive for
the times I need to access the old floppy disks I've got.
