I have been on Newsguy for years and they also host my web site.  Don't 
know how their pricing compares but they have excellent support and 2 
years binary retention.  I also have a block download account at 
https://www.ssl-news.info who have 1100 days retention.  I am quite 
happy with both these usenet providers.
