I currently use Mail.App and MobileMe for my email and I have to deal
with a seeming ever increasing amount of spam, currently about 100 spam
messages each day. With some exceptions, which unfortunately are ever
increasing, the spam is not placed in the Junk mailbox. As an example I
recently received 16 instances of the same spam email, the instances
each sent a few minutes apart, which were not recognized as spam. It
appears that the senders of the spam are becoming increasingly skilled
at creating their messages in a manner that the spam filter doesn't
identify them as spam. It is an annoyance to have to each day to both
identify spam that is not recognized as such and by going through the
Junk mailbox looking for the occasional mdesage that is mistakenly
placed there. I'm curious as to whether others have methods to reduce
this nuisance.
