 Doubtful if they are busy. It will likely take a day or three.

I bet they would give it to you - just ask.

You should always turn on FileVault in System Preferences so that your data
is encrypted on the drive. That way nobody can access the data on the drive
once are are done with it. If FileVault was enabled, Apple can't access the
data.
