Hello.
A few days ago, I made/created a bootable USB PNY 64 GB flash drive with
El Capitan/Mac OS X v10.11.5 from a mid-2012 13.3" MBP+ with its Mac OS
X v10.8.5/Mountain Lion and
http://osxdaily.com/2015/09/30/create-os-x-el-capitan-boot-install-drive/
instructions.
On a very old (early 2008; A1260) 15" MBP, holding down C key while
powering it up does not boot up from this connected USB device. Holding
down option key, while powering on, does show the connected bootable USB
PNY 64 GB flash drive with its El Capitan Mac OS X on screen. I also can
select to boot it as well.
Does this old MBP model not support C key while powering on to boot?
