There is a serious design flaw in Intel CPUs, which affects computers
running any OS (MacOS, Windows, Linux, etc.), will need an OS-level
patch to correct. The flaw can allow malware access to supposedly
secure system information such as passwords and keychains. The OS-level
fix may cause a performance drop of up to 30%!
