You should be able to get 1680 x 1050 native resolution from your current monitor (according to my Google search on this display). Not a vast improvement, but better than what your present resolution is set to. We have the same model Mac Mini and have an NEC 2490WUXi with a display res of 1920x1200 attached. This I think is the maximum supported display res for this Mac model but it really is very nice. This NEC was expensive, there are cheaper monitors with a 1920x1200 display. -- dee
